I decided to do my infographic on the positive and negative effects of gentrification on New York City. To show whether or not gentrification can help neighborhoods within the boroughs. Being from the Bronx I understand how important the culture and diversity can be to a neighborhood, as the neighborhood I lived has gotten better without gentrification.

Unfortunately, Amur Leopards are critically endangered. Humans have pushed further with their livestock into the Amur Leopard’s habitat. Amur Leopards are one of the rarest big cats in the world with an estimated 60 solitary individuals left in the wild. Amur Leopards are; “Nimble-footed and strong, it carries and hides unfinished kills so that they are not taken by other predators. It has been reported that some males stay with females after mating, and may even help with rearing the young. Several males sometimes follow and fight over a female. Finally got to see the quality of these stickers, and they’re pretty nice so i will be ordering more and in different colors so I can start making sticker packs . All the white parts are transparent and they are glossy in direct light.
My next goal is to make assorted color pins, maybe the same design just in different colors or maybe different designs entirely.
Well the only thing physically so far i have to show for this personal project is stickers and they are arriving today or this weekend i believe.
Aside from that I just have a lot of concept and don’t see myself proceeding past that for now.
This week, I decided to step back from my personal project and do a new kind of poster. This poster was a fun quick advertisement poster I made for Vaseline. I practiced typography by hand drawing the type. This was made traditionally, with pen and marker. I wanted to illustrate that Vaseline is actually “Good Stuff”, it was multifunctional, and a good product. Putting the hand and the finger acts as an element to juxtapose and play with the actual vaseline, as if someone is about to stick their finger in it. So in a way, this does stick with my poster theme, but helps me explore advertisement as well.
At the moment still narrowing down the name of my brand because I want to be 100% but I haven’t stopped creating some designs I wish to make into stickers and or shirts etc. I will continue to brainstorm until I have a name and figure out how or some way to physically get designs out.
