Infographic: Noise Pollution

5Artboard 1-2

Noise pollution is the propagation of noise that has a harmful impact on both urban centers and wildlife alike; it is primarily caused by transportation systems and industrial zones. #SayNope is a campaign inspired by the #MeToo movement and its ability to use social media and the power of communication to create positive change. Our goal was to gather all the information we could on the harmful effects of noise pollution and to bring awareness to an issue that is very much present and relevant— yet virtually unnoticed. Ironically, noise pollution is the pollution you that never hear about.

She is a Maryland resident, and spends her time searching for cafes, bars, and vintage shops in her area to photograph and taste the local culture. Hallie cultivated an interest in fashion at a young age, but fell in love with advertising as well while attending PrattMWP, located in Utica, NY. During her first year at the institute, Hallie was featured in GDUSA’s Students to Watch 2018. Hallie has always dreamed of a big city lifestyle, and is planning to work in New York City after she graduates from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.

TRUE wireframe art copyEating breakfast has always been an important part of a person’s daily life. Or, at least, it should be. Sadly, not everyone in the world understands how important it is to start the morning off right with a nutritious breakfast. Skipping this meal can negatively effect a person’s health in many ways, including lead a person to gain unnecessary weight. It should not go on being ignored when it is the meal that can help you focus for the rest of the day and keep up your health. To shine some light on this problem, I have chosen to cover it in my Project Truth infographic in hopes of changing people’s thoughts about skipping breakfast in the morning.

Weave Infographic

I chose to do my infographic on weave because often times there are misconceptions about weave. In this day and age weave is so popular and common, but people still don’t know how big the Weave industry truly is. I created this to shed light on a topic that is usually not always talked about. I also wanted to find a way to break the stereotype that only black women wear weave.

Birds & Climate Change

Marcy infographic2

TRUE wireframe artI decided to do my infographic on how birds have been affected by climate changes and how it disrupts their migration. I raise awareness to the birds that are now endangered due to climate change in order to promote a healthy Earth! The climate operates the flight plans of bird migration around the world. Drastic changes in the climate disrupt migration, and if the bird does not leave its territory before deep freeze hits, they end up not making it through the winter.
